Description of dog (e.g. personality, loves, dislikes, training, quirks, etc.): 

June was rescued from a kill shelter earlier this year, thanks to the shelter coordinator who was determined to help June find freedom.  The shelter coordinator says that June is good with cats and liked the baby kitties who she thought were her own babies.

According to her foster, June is dog selective as she was attacked by several big dogs in the past. Her foster says that she does, however, like her kennel neighbour who is a friendly neutered male.  She tends to ignore little dogs. It would likely be better for  June to be the only dog in the home, with a patient human to work with her on relating to other dogs.

According to foster June is a couch potato who just wants to be with humans.  She loves all people including kids.  She has no food aggression and walks well on the leash.
